RUSH HOURS PROBLEM
The "staggering" of traffic is being considered by the London Passenger Transport Board, which has just placed before the Minister of Transport a considerable amount of information regarding peak-hour traffic and its problems.
The board is averse to the idea of regimenting industry in the interests
of transport, but it is suggested that a plan for "staggered" hours might, well be put forward by various large business concerns, in order that the huge flow of workers should be spread out over a longer period in the mornings and evenings.
