LAND SPEED RECORD
The American driver Ab Jenkins plans to build a car to break the world's land speed record. "Those Englishmen have had an option on that record too long," he said recently. "It's time an American took a swing at it."
Captain G. E. Eyston intends having another swing on his own account some time about April, and Cobb's new car is reported to be coming along nicely for his projected attempt in September.
