FOR HOT DAYS
Hei-e are two good hints to try during the hot days:— To impart a refreshing odour in your pantry, simply wipe the shelves over with a cloth dipped in vinegar. For bedrooms, immerse some small I pieces of sponge in hot water, sprinkle with lavender water, and set about the rooms in tiny fane, dishes This has a delightfully, cooling effect, and makes rooms sweet and fragrant on the hottest days.
Spots on a woollen skirt may be removed by wearing the skirt in the home for a few days inside out. The friction will do the rest.
