KNEELESS STOCKINGS
A bright inventor in New York has had an idea for saving those tiresome "runs" in our stockings He is making stoc-ings without any Knees, as this is apparently where the tension is greates< and most of the runs start. These stockings have a neat hole all round the knee-cap.
Success in pastry-making depends on keeping everything in the making as cool as possible, but placing the pastry in a very hot oven without delay. A squeeze ri lemon is a great improvement.
