INFANTILE PARALYSIS IN NEW
SOUTH WALES
SYDNEY, February 2,
It was officially stated tonight that infantile paralysis in New South Wales has now assumed epidemic proportions, and the Government is taking all the necessary measures to deal with it, securing an adequate supply of respirators for city and country, and providing an aerial ambulance.
' The number of cases in the first two days this month was 34, including 25 today, due, according to high medical authority, to children mingling in the great crowds of the past week.
