If ambitioh, care, organisation, loyalty, and unstinted expense are ingredients with which to create_a great motion picture, Paramount s The Barrier" is destined to make screen history. For years Harry Sherman has consist ently turned out box office "hits' with his "Hopalong Cassidy" series. He believed that the same shrewd principles that made,this series so popular could be applied to a more ambitious-produc-tion. He put all the power of his organisation behind the filming of an ■epic f story of the .last frontier and when you see "The Barrier" you will agree that he has hit his mark. Naturally such a story, laid in Alaska, would require authentic backgrounds. Sherman took his entire company to the glorious Mount Baker National Park and the resulting pictorial, beauty has proven to be one of the picture's most thrilling high lights.
