A suggestion that places of historic interest round Wellington should be marked by notices was conveyed in. a letter from Mr. A. Sando, read at yesterday's meeting to discuss the 1940 Centennial celebrations. The Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop)said the sugges* tion was excellent.
