The Minister of Health and Education (the Hon. P. Frascr) left for Duriedin by air today and will visit Southland on Monday. He expects to return to Wellington'about the end of next wjek. .

Mulgaiv of the.: National Broadcasting' Service, arrived in' Wellington, on the Remuera this morning, intending to tour New Zealand for seven weeks by car. . Captain J. A; Ferguson, of England, accompanied by Mrs. Ferguson, arrived ii. Wellington on the Remuera this morning, prior to commencing a tour of New Zealand and Australia. They, will return Home via India. .They first intended to make a trip to China and round the Pacific, but the Sino Japanese conflict .caused them to alter their plans. .; Captain Ferguson, who is retired . from the Highland Light Infantry, is making his first visit to New Zealand.'l.

Major D. Inman Tod, M.8.E., ..a former Wellingtonian who left New Zealand in IW2 and rose to the rank of Major after enlisting as a private, arrived at Wellington today on the round trip by the Remuera. Major Tod retired after the war, and is now living in South Devon. He is' accompanied by Mrs» Tod.

Captain A. M. Hamilton, A.M.I.C.E:, A.M.1.M.E.,- B.K (N.Z.), author 61 "Road Through Kurdistan," who hat been spending his furlough, in th'a South Island, arrived in Wellington yesterday and left by the Rotorua for England last night. Captain Hamilton, is a grandson of the first headmaster of Wellington college, the late Mr. W;. S. Hamilton.
