ONE-DAY TOURNEYS
Wellington bowlers were well catered for today by' one^day tournaments which were held by. the Karori, Seatoun, and Porirua cluos. The tournaments were well patronised.
The Wellington Club held its annual' president's and vice-president's tournament, a one-day-club event, the trophies for-which are presented by the president and vice-president. The entries numbered 80, which is one of the largest number of players who have participated in the tournament.
Building permits to the number of 26 were issued by the Hutt County Council during December, the value of the buildings-to-SelerecteibeingjC^e. j
