OLD MAN'S TRAGIC DEATH

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
William Baker Taylor, aged 78, was burned to death at an early hour this morning in an old whare near. Kaiapoi. He lived by himself. Mr.. B. T. Price, who saw the fire was unable to approach because of the terrific heat. There was no wind but the whare was of old dried wood and it flamed'up like tinder. '
