A SATISFACTORY TURNOVER
.The Wellington Baring Club's Summer Meeting was carried into its second day under favourable weather conditions yesterday. The track was again very fast. The totalisator investments were £44,905 (£20,986 10s win, £23,918 10s place). There is no true comparison with last year, owing to Anniversary. Day and the Saturday falling on the same day this year, but on the Saturday twelve months ago the figures were £69,223 10s; Yesterday's turnover compared favourably with Cup Day on Tuesday, when £46,363 was handled. .
