£50 BANK-NOTES
BOTH NOW RECOVERED
The .second £50 bank-note which was given in error for a 10s note by the Gillies' Service Station, Taupo, just over a fortnight ago, has been returned (states the "New Zealand Heralds Taupo correspondent). The note was handed to the police by Mr. Lawrence Lye, an employee at the Westfield Freezing Works, Auckland. The first £50 note exchanged in error was returned to the police by Mr. Eric Lawson, of Hataitai, Wellington.
