SUBURBS CLUB
The Suburbs Rifle Club fired the concluding round for the 300 yds series and the Witcombe Cup at Trentham on Saturday. Weather conditions were fairly good but a tricky rear wind was inclined to keep the scoring down. H. Crownshaw and L. Fellingham tied for first place off the rifle with 92 points each.
The results of the 300 yds series were: W. Smith 193J, T. Goodall 193, T. Oliver 192,}, and L. Fellingham 192. Rifleman T. Goodall is the winner of the Witcombe Cup with 193 points. Next week's competition shoot will be at 500 yds, squadding numbers 17 to 19.
