MAORI KILLED
ACCIDENT AT PORIRUA
A Maori, Jack Arthur, residing at Porirua Pa, was killed this morning as the result of an accident which occurred at the new overbridge being erected at the Porirua railway crossApparently, Arthur was standing at the end of the ramp, and some workmen were blasting concrete, piles some distance away. A blast was set off, and a large piece of concrete flew off and struck Arthur on the head, fracturing his skull- He died almost immediately. . The Free Ambulance received a call at 9.15 a.m.' and: brought the' body into the city. ■
