SOLO RECORD IN VIEW

LONDON, December 19,
Jim Mollison, the well-known aviator, has disclosed that he recently bought the plane which won the King's Cup Air Race. He said he would attempt a solo record in January but refused to disclose his plans.
The King's Cup air race in September was won by Mr. Charles Gardner at an average speed of 240 m.p.h.
