WASHINGTON, November 18.
The Secretary of State, Mr. Cordell Hull, announced the intention of the United States to negotiate an AngloAmerican trade treaty and invited interested persons to submit suggestions concerning products the importation and export of which should be considered.
Formal notice of negotiations will be issued at a later date, after the receipt of proposals from the United Kingdom, whereupon the United States will also draw up a list of products on which it might consider granting concessions to the United Kingdom.
