SUCCESSFUL BAZAAR
/ST.. ANNE'S, NORTHLAND
A very successful "bazaar was held on! Wednesday in St. Anne's Hall, Northlaftd, under the auspices of the Ladies' Social Guild. It was opened by Mrs. 'Peter ■■ Fraser, who extolled the good work being done by the women of the Churches, mentioning those of St. Anne's as evidenced by".the bazaar that day. She was accompanied on the stage by Mrs. F. A. Macindoe (president of the guild), Mrs. Stevens (sec-retary),-and the Rev. J. E. and Mrs. Asnle'y-Jbnes. Mrs. Fraser and Mesdames Macintioe and Ashley-Jones were presented with delightful posies by little Margaret Taylor. . The hall was prettily, decorated in shades of. mauve and the afternoon ■tea-room in pink. The stallholders were as follows:—Plain and, fancy work (Guild), Mesdames F. A. Macindoe, S. H. Rastall, H. Platt; produce, Mesdames Dempsey, Mahoney, Hill; cakes, Mesdames C. Richardson, Selwood, T. L. Boyes; sweets, Mesdames Chalker and the Misses Jones and Willson; children's (Bible Classes), Mrs. L. Taylor and Miss Coxon; afternoon tea, Mesdames Honsa, Wilkinson, Tilsley, Lain; competitions, Mr. J. C. Adams.
