FOR PERFECT TOAST
The four golden rules for perfect toast are those of a famous chef whose savouries on toast were always perfect.
1. Cut bread evenly at least one hour before, toasting. Leave exposed to air, so that some of the moisture in the bread evaporates.
2. Trim into shape, or soften crust before toasting, with back of knife.
3. Make butter soft before spreading, so that it covers toast evenly. 4. Put toast back in oven or uarier griller for few moments before serving or using for savouries.
