The Buzzer was sprinted seven furlongs on the plough, and, after an easy first furlong, he put five furlongs behind in lmin 7sec, and completed the full distance in.lmin 33 4-ssec without being asked to do his best at any stage. He pulled up well and he should strip a very fit horse tomorrow.

Great Hope kept the pace on all through' a six-furiong gallop with Silver River in lmin 19sec, Silver River making up some ground over the last bit. Gay Boy, who looks well, was sprinted, five furlongs in lmin 6 2-5 sec. ... "

Royal Choice beat Copy Cat by the best part of a length over: six furlongs in lmin 20sec. Aria scampered ■• over five' furlongs in lmin 6. 4-ssec, and Beaulack covered five furlongs on the course proper in lmin's l-ssec. .

Round Score was schooled by W. J. McDowell, jumping three fences in good style. .

Body line and Laughing Chief werfr companions over six furlongs on the plough, and after the former had made the pace to the straight Laughing Chief ■went past him to, finish in lmin 21 1-5 sec.

Tangled, who with Tail Light left for Te Rapa last evening, was put over two brush fences by ,VV. J. McDowell, and he then ran six furlongs-on the plough in lmin 25 l-ssec.' He looks a picture at present, and he should prove capable of_giving a good. account of himself at- Tie Rapa. . King's ■ • Lancer (McDowell) and Aurora's Love (C. ,Tail Light and Wildflower ran seven furlongs in.lmin 33sec,, the.first four in 51sec and five in lmin ssec, and they finished almost on terms, neither baing ridden out.
