Two Awapuni novices' who may be doing better shortly are Rangemore in G. W. New's team, and Shining Hours, who is trained by his owner, Mr. C. McCullough. Both are due to race at Levin tomorrow.' ; Rangemore is a three-year-old' gelding by Nightmarch from that useful Paper Money mare Note, the dam also, of Monipere, and he is owned in Christchurch by Mr. B. J. Montague, who bought him from the estate of his breeder, the late Mr. W. Jeffries. Ho has had three races to date, but Shining Hours has had only one and was finishing on strongly.
