THREATENED TRADE LOSS

The Premier announces that repr<»» sentations are to be made to Ottawa concerning the threatened removal of the preference now enjoyed, as a. re-, suit of the proposed British-United States Treaty. The removal would be ruinous to the British Columbia fruit and lumber trades.
