Savage) "whether, in view of the embargo placed on the export of scrap iron by the waterside workers and afterwards endorsed by the Government by Order. in-Council. the Prime Minister will state what action, if any, has to be taken by the Government to ensure that any shipments of wool bought by Japanese buyers will not be stopped. The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage): The hon. member has definitely said that this Government endorsed certain actions of other people. Is he entitled to affirm that the Government is doing this? .; Mr. Speaker: The question will be looked over by the Clerk, and if necessary, by me, before being placed on the Order Paper.» .
