COUNTRY PARTY MEMBER DEFEATED
SYDNEY, November 1
The chief development arising from the distribution of preference votes for. election candidates today is the defeat, in the Richmond, electorate of the retiring Country Party member, Mr. Roland Green, by an unofficial Country Party candidate, Mr. H. Anthony, by.a'substantial margin.
There is also a distinct possibility of Sit Archdale Parkhill, Minister of Defence, retaining Warringah, whera, the count is likely to conclude tomorrow. - V
