OAMARU, This Day,
North Otago has been experiencing very dry-weather this year. The total rainfall in Oamaru during the past ten months was only thirteen inches, being rtine inches below the average. October, with 34 points of rain, was the driest October for seven,years. Kurow has had only two inches of rain in the last live months. ■ . , The prolonged absence of ram is causing anxiety among farmers.
