BOOT INDUSTRY
OFFICIAL STATEMENT SOON (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Mr. W. T. Anderton, M.P., who has been criticised by Auckland boot manufacturers for alleged remarks in Parliament regarding the state of. the boot industry, said today that the Government was fully aware of the position, and a statement regarding its policy would be made in a fortnight's time by the Minister of Customs, the Hon. W. Nash.
