Rowe and Sons haying built their flour-mill on part of the land at the rear, the depth of . this blpck is not so great as that of the other area.
i About two years ago Truth (N.Z.), Ltd.,: purchased an area of land carrying- a three-storeyed building at the corner of Manners Street and Luke's Lane for the sum of £9000, or about £400 a foot, but this area is not considered large enough for the .building development now proposed. '
