LATE MR. H. E. M. FILDES
■ The funeral of the late Mr. H. E. M. Fildes, which took place today, was largely attended. The service at the late Mr. Fildes's residence and at the cemetery was conducted by the Rev. C. H. Isaacson, of Kelburn. The pallbearers were Messrs. Johannes Andersen, Wyclif Reed, C. R. Taylor, J Norrie, A. H. Hoilis, and. Dr. Guy Scholfield. The principal mourners were the widow (Mrs. Fildes), Mr. R. F. E. Fildes (brother), Mr. and Mrs. H Taine, Mr. H. E. Taine, Mr. F. Taine, and Mr. A. O. Craigie. Among those present were the Rev. D. C. Bates, Mr. D. J. Cummings (Commissioner of Police), Mr. Louis Ward, Mr. Alexander Mcintosh, and representatives of Victoria University College and Dominion Museum.
