AN EMERGENCY CALL

NELSON, This Day.
While bound from Napier to Newcastle, the steamer Kaikorai put in at Nelson to land the second officer, Mr. G. M. Scholefield, who was taken to the Nelson Hospital for an operation. An officer to replace him was sent by aeroplane from Wellington.
