JAPAN SEEKS TO REDUCE
PURCHASES

TOKIO, September 9.
The "Asahi Shimbau" says that the Government is seeking to cut down purchases of Australian wool under the trade agreement to half a million bales, in addition to cessation of purchases from New Zealand. Argentina, Chile, and South Africa.
