HUTT VALLEY ESPERANTO CLUB

There was a record attendance at the weekly, meeting of the Hutt Valley Esperanto Club, which took place in the clubrooms, 262 High Street, Lower Hutt. Mr. E. Currie presided.

The secretary, Mr. Henri Thorns, announced that correspondence had been received from individual Esperantists in France, Hungary, Algeria, and England. Letters of greeting had been forwarded to Esperanto clubs in Kenya Colony (South Africa), and Columbia. Greetings were received from the Masterton Esperanto Club.

Following the enrolment of new members, classes of instruction were formed under . the ■supervision of experienced teachers. A community sing, followed by the serving of supper, brought a very successful evening to a close. It was announced that the Wellington Esperanto Club, was holding a dance next Monday, and that a very cordial welcome to the Hutt Valley Esperantists to attend had been given.
