At the annual meeting of the Parliamentary Press Gallery yesterday afternoon Mr. J. A. Young ("Dominion"), was elected chairman, and Mr. E. C. Marris ("Evening Post") vice-chairman. Mr. C. G. Noble-Campbell, the retiring chairman, and Mr. A. R. Cameron, the retiring vice-chairman, were thanked for their services.

The Rt. Rev. St. Barbe Holland, Bishop of Wellington, performed the induction ceremony of the Rev. M. Wallace to ■ the charge of the Church of England parish at Hunterville, on ■Monday evening.
