In reference to the report from Gisborne that concern was felt for the safety of the auxiliary scow Ngahau, which had left Gisborne towing a hea- ' timber beam and had. not arrived at Tokrimaru Bay, the owners of the vessel in Auckland received a telegram stating that the Ngahau is sheltering in Tolaga Bay, where there is a heavy surge.
