SALE OF CLYDESDALES

ASHBURTON, This Day,
The high price of 400 guineas was paid for the three-year-old Clydesdale mare Peggy Castle at the dispersal sale of Mr. W.J. Doak's stud. The imported mare Peg o' Limavady, seven years, brought the next highest price, £300.
