TWO BANKRUPTCIES
The last two bankruptcy meetings held by the Official Assignee, Mr. S. Tansley, did not take long to dispose of, as no creditors attended one and only one the other. A tram conductor. Walter Anders Dahl, had liabilities amounting to £79, and John Charles Bolt, a hotel porter, liabilities totalling £133. In neither case was the bankrupt in a position to-make an offer to hi 3 creditors, although the intention was expressed of paying off liabilities at some future time if prospects improved, and the meetings were adjourned sine die.
