MAY BE RUPTURE OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS
United Tress Association—By Electric Telegraph—t'opyrisiil. (Received September. 9, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 8. Russia has delivered a second Note to Italy declaring dissatisfaction with the Italian reply and reiterating the earlier demands —compensation for lives lost and damage to property as a result of the operations of submarines in the Mediterranean. It is indicated that the second Np.te does not alter Italy's earlier repudiation. , The British United Press agency, at Rome says that a rupture of diplomatic relations between Italy and the Soviet is now considered possible. *
