. BRUSSELS, September 7.. 'The Chamber of Deputies is holding an extraordinary session to hear the Prime Minister (M. Van.Zeeland) defend himself against allegations by the Rexists and Flemish Nationalists, regarding his relations with the National Bank. The debate will be continued tomorrow. There is no doubt that M. Van Eeeland will receive a vote of confidence by a large majority.

He has denied that he received ■ salary as vice-governor of the bank simultaneously with his office as Prime Minister and has declared that by resigning from the bank and joining the Government he had sacrificed £12,000.
