The Minister of Public Works (the Hon. R. Semple) returned to Wellington from the South Island this morning. The Minister of Agriculture (the Hon. W. 1,. Mar.tin) attended a function at Palmerston North today in connection with the Young Farmers' Club Movement, and was a guest of the New Zealand Federation of Young Farmers' Club at afternoon tea. . The Minister of Education (the Hon. P. Fraser) returned to Wellington today from Rotorua. Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M., was a passenger from the South Island this morning. Nottage, of Tasman, Nelson, has been elected to represent the Can-terburyrNelson-Marlborough provincial district on the New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board. He had a majority of 76 votes over Mr. J. A. Fraser, of Mahana, Nelson.
