The.first round of the Sunflower Cup was played at Shandon on Saturday, the following being the results: —Mrs. Hipkins beat Miss Hodgins, 2 and* 1; Mrs. Frazer beat Miss Bead, 4 and 2; Miss Kendall beat Miss Levy 3 and 1; Mrs. Burke beat Mrs. Ryan,. 1, up; Miss Hobinson beat Miss Gaynor, 5 and 3; Mrs. Johnston beat Miss Smith, 4 and 2; Miss Vallance beat. Mrs.'Findlay, 3'and 1; Miss Souter won by default from Miss Ellison. In the second round played on Sunday Miss Robinson beat Mrs. Johnston, 3 and 2; Miss.Vallance beat Misg Souter, 4 and
2; Mrs Hipkins beat Mrs. Frazer, 2 and 1; and-Mrs. Burke beat Miss Kendall, 8 and 7. .
