TWO MEN ASSAULTED
"GATE-CRASHERS' " 'VISIT A party of six or seven ' ""gatecrashers," hearing the sounds -of • a dance in progress at 7.' Stepney Place, shortly before 2 o'clock on Sunday morning, decided to participate, but found their way stopped by two brothers, George and Noel' Richards, who would not receive them. Noel Richards received a blow on the head from a bottle, and was taken by the Free Ambulance to the hospital suffering from concussion. He is still at the hospital, but his condition is' not serious. George Richards also received a.blow on the head, apparently from a less weighty or' more fragile instrument. Five stitches were inserted in the wound in his head, and he was discharged from hospital. The party's uninvited guests did not remain to play, and have not yet been'located.
