ST. RONAN'S CHURCH
YEAR IN REVIEW The annual- meeting of St. Ronan's Presbyterian Church, Eastbourne, was held recently. A number of reports from the different organisations were read, and every one was optimistic m tone. Membership had advanced by fourteen, and the last Communion held had touched the record for the congregation. • The Sunday school was fully staffed, and the Bible classes had increased by about 20 per cent. The new manse had been occupied for a year am1 was proving a valuable centre for the work of the congregation. The great feature of the year had been the evangelistic mission led by Mr. A. i Johnston., Out of this had grown a live Bible study group/which was proving to be a valuable aid o devotion. The treasurer reported a satisfactory financial position and he stated that this year the congregtion had met all its obligations to missions and a?l the general commitments. A live badminton club had been started, and the young women's physical culture clubs were crowded. It was stated that the coming year should result in continued satisfactory progress, especially if the projected Christian fellowship campaign was undertaken with enthusiasm and loyalty.
