TYPHOON DEATH-BOLL
HONG KONG DAMAGE
TIDAL WAVE AT TAIPU
(Received September 4, 9 a.m.) HONG KONG, September 3. The death-roll due to the typhoon is at least 100 in Hong Kong alone. The damage to property is over 1,000,000 dollars. More than 100 bodies have been recovered at Taipu, which was overwhelmed by a tidal wave. Hundreds are still missing.
