MONDAY'S WRESTLING

Although Frank Judson, who is to meet "Lofty" Blomfield in the professional heavyweight wrestling match at the Town Hall on Monday night, still retains the vigour of youth, he has had plenty of experience in the wrestling game, having been a professional for a period of fifteen ■ years: Prior to that he had had a distinguished career as an amateur and his mastery over the scientific side of the sport was such that he was appointed the wrestling coach at Harvard University. Judson has been wrestling against men in the top division of the sport practically the whole time he has been connected with it, and his record includes victories over some famous figures. He has beaten Dafy Koloff, the "Hungarian rock," twice, has also beaten Henri De Glane, the Frenchman who once won the world title off "Strangler" Lewis, and has held the late Jim Browning to a draw in the -world title contest. Judson is one of the most widely travelled wrestlers in the game, having accompanied Stanislaus Zbyszko to India and also visited Europe, South Africa, and Australia. He is an extremely versatile wrestler and, as he possesses magnificent physique, is a tough proposition for any opponent. Judson will not mind mixing it with Blomfield if the latter adopts his favourite tactics and there will be plenty of excitement as they decide the matter. There will be amateur preliminaries.
