The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has received the following advice from its London office as at close of business this week:—The advance in prices for wethers has checked the demand. There is a better inauiry for ewes. The market for lambs is firm. Larger supplies of chilled beef have caused prices to weaken further.
