DISTRICT CLUB PARADE '
Beautiful weather favoured the cocker spaniel fanciers for their parade which' was held recently at 23 Russell Terrace, Newtown. Their Excellencies' children, the Hons Mary, Cecilia, and Isobel Monckton, and • the ' Hon. Simon MoncktonArundel, attended and were welcomed by the president of the club (Mr. H. O. Saunders) and Mrs. Saunders. During the afternoon tea was served by the ladies' committee. After the judging was completed the president presented the ribbons and congratulated all those who had been success-, ful in the various classes. He thanked X . Brown and all the members who had helped to make the function a success. He also specially thanked Mrs. Weeds for the use of her grounds for the parade. Mr. Arthur Brown, of Lower Hutt. was the judge, and the results were as follows: — Puppy, under 3 months: Mr. A. J.
