SEVEN MONTHS' TRADE
Customs returns of exports and imports for the seven months January 1 to July 31 last show in New Zealand currency an excess of exports of :£ 16,354,000, compared with £15,521,000 for the corresponding period of 1936. Imports. . £ £ Scv^ months ended^July, The return for the month of July, 1937 is exports £4,825,000, imports £4 844 000; excess of imports over exports, £19,000. For July, 1936 exports exceeded imports by £1,150,000.
