DEFEAT OF LEGISLATIVE REFORM BILL
MELBOURNE, September 1
Following the defeat of the Legislative Council Reform Bill by the Council on Tuesday night, the Premier of Victoria (Mr. A: A. Dunstan) asked the Governor (Lord Huntingfield) late today for the dissolution Of Parliament.
An election will probably be held in a month.
