FEELING IN FRANCE
ITALIAN INTERVENTION IN
SPAIN
LONDON, September 1
The Paris correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph" says that indignation i.i France over Italian intervention in Spain is so strong that the impression in political circles is that if Parliament is called on to renew the recent-ly-expired decree closing the French frontier it would refuse.
The Government has decided to continue lo control the frontier^ but-as ihe
decree has expired Volunteers can ho longer be punished when they return to France.
France is also perturbed at the attacks on shipping in the Mediterranean.
