GOVERNMENT HOUSE BALL
The Governor-General and Lady Galway propose to, give a ball, to be confined mainly to the younger*-people, at Government House, Wellington, during the third week in October (probably the 21st), at which a limited number of idebutantes will be received by their Excellencies.
Applications for presentation Should be addressed to the Aide-de-Camp in Waiting, not later than September 18, by the mother or other nearest • relative' of the prospective -■ debutante, whose Christian name and age should be given.'
