R. VOITRE'S RECOVERY
The former New Zealand jockey K. Voitre, who is still convalescent from his fall from Valiant Chief at Moonec Valley last September, has been spending a holiday at Magnetic .Island, a few miles from Townsyille, Queensland. He has been swimming, playing tennis, and hiking.
Voitre stated a fortnight ago that he would soon return.to Melbourne and would, begin track riding immediately in preparation for the spring meetings. Thus, he will probably begin work early this month.
