OIL REFINING
MEGGITT'S AND LINOLEUM
At the annual meeting of Meggitt Limited, the chairman (Mr. S. W. Philips) said that the new refinery was complete and could deal with specialised oils required in numerous Australian industries. The directors were satisfied that the company's process of oil and cake manufacture was correct in all particulars, and that plant and organisation generally were equal to anything of the kind elsewhere. _ Mr Philips said the company s interest in the linoleum industry in Australia was substantial through its connection with Michael Nairn and Co. (Aust), Ltd., who had secured a satisfactory share of the Australian trade.
